The 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season starts on April 13-14 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, but before the first official session, the Prologue was held on Thursday at the 4.005-kilometre track. Sunny conditions and hot temperatures made the official pre-season test a real challenge for the drivers and teams and with more sunshine expected for the NASCAR GP Spain, the conditions were a good indication of what the competitors may find in the first round of the season. The #3 RDV Competition Ford Mustang was the fastest team in the session where both drivers of a car were allowed to participate.

Paul Jouffreau and Patrick Schober shared duties in the #3 Ford Mustang. RDV Competition was followed by the #55 The Club Motorsport Chevrolet Camaro with a gap of 0.045 seconds. The #24 PK Carsport Chevrolet Camaro completed the top-3, just 0.145 seconds behind the leading organization. The #54 CAAL Racing and #99 Bremotion Chevrolets completed the top-5 among the 29 cars that took part in the official prologue. The #5 Academy / Alex Caffi Motorsports Ford Mustang experienced gearbox problems, while Veeti Rajala in the #90 Granducato Speed Chevrolet Camaro also had technical issues.
