The interest in the EuroNASCAR has been growing in the past years, especially in Northern Europe. In 2020 the Swedish V8 Thunder was supposed to join the EuroNASCAR at Hockenheim for the finals. Right now Finland beats the drum for the EuroNASCAR.

In 2019 Henri Tuomaala and Ian Eric Wadén raced together in the number 23 for the swedish team Memphis Racing. The first season was pretty successful for both Finns. Tuomaala was able to win the Challenger Trophy in the EuroNASCAR Pro, Wadén succeeded in the Legends Trophy in the EuroNASCAR 2. In 2020 both wanted to defend their titles. While Tuomaala switched teams and headed to DF1 Racing, Wadén wanted to stay with Memphis Racing for another season. Due to the pandemic, Memphis Racing did not start in 2020 and also Tuomaala had to delay his debut with DF1 Racing due to the restrictions. In 2021 both Finns will return to the EuroNASCAR, but on different cars.

Tuomaala’s focus is on the EuroNASCAR, but if he has time, he still races in the Finnish Legends Cars. Together with his own team Iceboys Racing he was able to win the Finnish Winter championship at Kuusamo. The winner of the regular season of the Legends Cars will receive a special prize this year. Tuomaala and Iceboys Racing offer the possibility to drive in the EuroNASCAR at the finals in Zolder for the winner of the Pro and the Semipro division, with all costs paid.
