DF1-Racing driver finished on P16 in the EuroNASCAR Esports Series at Watkins Glen.

After the race, the 23 year old driver from Appenweier answered some questions concerning his race and the ENES.

TW: Hallo Justin, how was your race at Watkins Glen ?
JK: Well, it started with a bad qualifying, when both my laps didn’t count because of the track limits. So I had to start from P19 in my heat race. I quickly managed to get to P11, but I missed P10.

So I had to drive in the Last Chance Qualifier-race. That went quite good and I was able to win it. In the main race I made it to P8, but unfortunately I had some damage from that big one and was missing some power. At least I was able to finish on P16.

TW: How did you prepare yourself for the race?
JK: As I have to work my preparation is the official training, if I have the time.

TW: When did you start in sim racing?
JK: I just started in March 2020.

TW: Is it of any help for the real racing?
JK: It definitely is! Unfortunately there is no EuroNASCAR, but except for the difference in power one can transfer a lot of it into the real racing.

TW: Are you in contact with your other colleagues from DF1 Racing ?
JK: Yes, we do have contact. We are participating in this eSports series as a team, so we are constantly in touch with each other.

Thank you so much for your time and we hope to see you soon at a real race track!
