The young Austrian Viktor Schiffer will be driving for Double V Racing in the Club Challenge of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series in 2023.

Schiffer debuted in car racing during the finals of the EuroNASCAR in Grobnik 2022. “It was an amazing experience to drive these cars for the first time. I want to show what I’m capable of and I’m looking forward to see how far I can make it in my first season”, Schiffer said. “I’m extremely motivated and I’m looking forward to the team spirit Double V Racing has. At the same time I want to say thank you to GWT and Denzel Eisenstadt for their support, as well as Robert Wagner from motorSPORTaktiv for this unique opportunity and especially, of course, to my Dad!” In his first full-time season, Viktor Schiffer wants to gain experience. “I don’t know any of the tracks, I only have some experience from sim racing. That’s why my main goal will be to gain more experience and have decent results, although I hope for the podium. I will prepare myself on the simulator of Tango Racing and starting in March, we will have our first test with the car at the Slovakiaring and in Italy.”

Manager Robert Wagner is convinced that Schiffer will be successful. “Viktor is a very talented young driver with a lot of potential. He joined us after he took part in the recruitment program of motorSPORTaktiv. He proved in Grobnik that he is able to switch from karts to the car and quickly was able to keep up with his more experienced opponents. We worked well together with Double V Racing last season, therefore it’s a pleasure to continue the good teamwork.”
